I couldn’t agree more. Man I didn’t even delve into most of the political retardation going on…. I mostly was being selfish in talking about my personal life. I don’t have much hope for anything improving politically or economically. In fact, I don’t have ANY hope. I think all the Obamaites are going to be sooooreeellyyy disappointed. Pretty stupid if you ask me to put so much faith in one man, or one administration to make a change… to change the direction of 100’s of years of planning and manipulation of our country. Silly. I just hope I get to keep my job. Or my rental.

Do u think 2009 will be better – I’m not going to watch TV with Katie Couric big salary for reading off a cue card and Biden buying a pedigree not going to the humane society to get a loving animal or from economy a pet who was given up because the owner could not afford (I DETEST Biden’s arrogance) and then there is Obama vacationing in Hawaii in a home as big as my old apartment complex with 300 units. I work and it takes years bef I can even think of vacation. Oh yes they might create jobs – minimum wage jobs and give to an illegal ignorant and tell us how hard they work – they work hard alright to close our hospitals here in CA thinking free while I pay. I will hope all us hard workers in “real life” have a better year. Peloser, Reid, Biden and Obama open up YOUR PERSONAL WALLETS.

Love is indeed not a pie, but the problem is with manifestations of love which make use of resources from the physical world: time, money, energy. These are all finite, hence pies.

I can love all my dogs equally and still have some more love for an extra cat, but if I only have 30 minutes to bathe them all and $30 to feed them all, they’re not going to get a very good treatment.

When I was younger my parents and I used to travel from Denver to Chicago by Amtrack- but it was not cheap then. Too my Uncle in Chicago would come out that way because he did not like to fly.
