I’ll be really embarrassed for Alaska if Stevens wins. I’m embarrassed it’s so close. He’s served his time. It’s time for him to go. Just what we need…. he wins, refuses to step down, like anyone with a brain cell would… and instead is going to bring more negativity and distraction. We don’t need a man distracted with his appeal in the Senate. We need someone who can concentrate on taking OUR needs and concerns to Senate. Not his own personal agenda. If he’s elected, he WILL get thrown out, and where will that leave us? More uncertainty, and no productivity for Alaska. He needs to step down. That is the right thing to do for ALASKA. 40 years, that’s enough. They have term limits in other offices for a reason. He’s arrogant for thinking anyone owes him something just because he’s been around the longest. Bush is going to pardon him anyway. Get out of the right/left paradigm people. It’s dead anyway, two sides of the same coin.
