Ok, I wouldn’t really eat my cat. But she REALLY pissed me off this morning. AT 4AM!
First, lets just start by saying, she’s insane. Also, this doesn’t happen everyday.
I’m sure she’s not the only cat, that decides when it’s time for you to wake up and pay attention to her. She’s going to make damn sure you do. She’s fine, until I make one move, roll over in bed, stretch my leg, and then it’s over, my sleep that is. She’s immediately jumps up on the bed, starts meowing, and walking all around and over me. I tell her to be quiet… no go. I shew her off the bed, several times. I yell at her to cut it out. When she realizes she’s not going to get anywhere meowing, and jumping on the bed…. she resorts to hopping around on anything she can in the room to make noise. A piece of paper, a magazine, a box. And when that doesn’t work, then she’ll stretch on the door jam, and scratch her nails.
I’d had it this morning. It’s so simple you think, just close her out of the room! You don’t know Chloe. Not to mention that we don’t have central heat, and I rely on my door being open to stay warm. But this morning I did shut her out. To no avail, as her strategy with any closed door is to knock. Yep, I said knock. Knocking in Chloe terms is making a run for the door, and throwing herself against it. It make such a racket it sounds like a SWAT team trying to break in (i’ve seen it on t.v.). This morning, I kick her out, shut the door, and put a pillow over my head. After a couple of knocks, I yell at her again. Finally she gives up, but at this point, I’ve been awake for almost 45 minutes, just trying to get some peace and quiet until my 6am alarm. I’m pissed, and the adrenaline is flowing. So I cave and get up. This might be a 2 Americano day!

You know one of my dogs does that when she wants in from the backyard. Instead of scratching once on the storm door like the other dog does she takes a running start and slams into it and keeps doing it until I open the friggin door and then she runs off. She just wanted to see me, the pain in the ass….
