Life in Wasilla Alaska

Nice 4.8 Quake…

On the heels of a nice little quake, I thought I would blog about it.  Alaska is a part of the “ring of fire”, and it still amazes me every time I look at the recent seismic activity here.

We have many many earthquakes everyday. Most of them we don’t feel.  Today’s nice 4.8 though rattled things for about 10 seconds where I work in Eagle River.

More soon…

What part of Alaska? I get up to Fairbanks occasionally to do work at Fort Greely. I renenber feeling an EQ up there on one trip but it wasn’t too bad.
